 TESTIMONIALS FROM OUR INTERNS

“During class, a Senior Interior Design Professor at UNT used Adrienne Faulkner as an example on transforming design markets. She explained that Faulkner Design Group has shaped the senior living industry and has turned it into a glamorous market. [She] encouraged us to look into FDG as they are a strong growing company to be a part of.”

KATRINA BORSZCZ, Design Intern 2018, University of North Texas

“The internship at Faulkner Design Group was the perfect way to spend my summer before heading off to the University of Arkansas. The FDG team was so welcoming and truly showed me what a company should be: a family. Every single task I completed helped me learn something new, such as social media marketing strategies, filing and cataloging project materials, and the importance of first impressions. I also honed my skills in Microsoft Office, and procurement-related software such as NAV. I’m so thrilled to have had this experience and opportunity to work with the interior designer team at FDG and to solidify my desire to pursue Interior Design in the future. I will go into my college experience with an idea of what my future could look like, the tasks at hand, the types of responsibilities, and the passion that comes with interior design.”

KATHERINE LALLIER, Design & Business Intern, 2021, University of Arkansas

“One of the many joys of my college experience was my incredible internship with Faulkner Design Group as part of their marketing and operations team. My internship with FDG was so much more than I could have ever expected, with countless hands-on opportunities and a more than welcoming team who truly cared about me and my success. Interning with Faulkner Design Group greatly surpassed the typical, mundane internship experience by making interns part of the team, teaching them valuable life lessons, and setting them up for success.”

TORREY O’BRIAN, Marketing & Operations Intern 2019-2020, University of Texas at Arlington

“From the day I started, the entire team at Faulkner welcomed me with open arms and treated me as one of their own. Every single day proved to be so valuable for my design career and I learned more than I could’ve ever imagined from that internship… You entrusted me with an abundance of responsibilities and tasks, and even allowed me to go on an install to Georgia. I was not expecting to be able to do any of these things, yet you chose to give me these opportunities to learn from. Being an intern with Faulkner has been such a wonderful experience. It has helped me discover my passion for design and has definitely changed my outlook on what this career path is truly about.

KAYLA HARWELL, Design Intern 2018, Texas State University

I could never have imagined the amazing experience I would have had here at Faulkner. From the moment I stepped into the office, I immediately felt welcome. All the designers here are extremely talented and so helpful. They were there with me throughout my entire internship and they helped me gain so much knowledge throughout my time here. I have learned so much and can use it all going forward into my senior year of college. It is so beneficial to have such a great experience to use for school and for life moving forward. I am so thankful for everything that FDG has done for me in just these few 10 weeks!

EMILY MUSSO, Design Intern, 2021, University of Oklahoma
