Director of Finance

As Faulkner Design Group’s Director of Finance, Chris applies his unique understanding of the design industry to systematically satisfy our business partners and team members with both financial strategy and accounting acumen. With FDG’s yearly FF&E surpassing $70 million, Chris stays busy with cash flow projections and tracking along with overall financial planning and budgeting for the firm. He has made it his mission to advance the firm’s ability to serve our clients in a swift and efficient manner.

Chris brings more than 30 years of experience gained from managing the finances for various firms within the architecture and construction industry. Within those companies, he held positions ranging from budget analyst to corporate budget director. An expert in accounting strategy, Chris understands the creative nature of the industry and its unique financial needs.

After joining Faulkner Design Group in 2016, Chris expeditiously implemented a powerful accounting system that benefits our clients with a more accurate understanding of a project’s financial projections. Chris leverages his in-depth understanding of the design industry to guide our teams to a thorough understanding of project accounting. This knowledge provides our team with more power and flexibility to deliver the highest quality service while maximizing the client’s budget.

Chris shares is financial intellect with the community as well. He is a long-time member and currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Oak Cliff Society of Fine Arts. He is an avid golfer and tennis fan.
