360 State

Project Information

Location: New Haven, Connecticut

Client: Beachwold

Product Type: 26-Story High-rise

Nestled in the historically vibrant streets of New Haven, Connecticut, 360 State underwent a thoughtful renovation aimed at redefining luxury and sophistication within its existing framework. This interior revitalization elevated functionality while paying homage to the legacy of Yale University, a cornerstone of the city’s cultural identity.

Inspired by the iconic navy tones associated with Yale, the design palette incorporates warm wood finishes, brass accents, and soft neutral textures to create an atmosphere of understated elegance. With minimal demolition, the renovation strategically reimagined existing spaces, bringing renewed clarity and purpose to each amenity area.

The design thoughtfully blends historic and contemporary elements, drawing from the original amber-toned lobby flooring to inform the furniture and art selections. This approach ensured a seamless integration of old and new, preserving the building’s character while enhancing its modern appeal.

Subtle Yale-inspired details are woven throughout the interior, reinforcing the property’s deep connection to its community. The result is a refined, welcoming environment that celebrates both local heritage and modern urban living.
