Located just outside Boston in Somerville, MA, Revolution at Assembly Row recently underwent a transformative renovation to its lobby and mezzanine, led by Mesirow following their acquisition of the property. The redesign focused on enhancing functionality while creating a modern, welcoming atmosphere that reflects the dynamic energy of Assembly Row.
A striking custom light installation now anchors the double-height lobby, providing a dramatic focal point visible from both inside and outside the building. The interiors were refreshed with a sophisticated palette of slate blues, greens, and warm wood tones, adding depth and vibrancy to what was once a muted environment. The lobby features new furnishings that balance comfort with convenience, offering residents a stylish place to gather, wait for transportation, or simply enjoy the space. Recognizing the increasing demand for flexible work environments, the renovation also introduced a variety of coworking areas, designed to support productivity and community engagement.
