Adrienne Akin Faulkner is the CEO and Chief Creative Officer of Faulkner Design Group (FDG), a top national interior architecture and design firm specializing in multifamily housing and senior living environments. FDG is the most recognized interior architecture and design firm in the country, whose work has garnered hundreds of top awards and recognition. For over 27 years, Faulkner has devoted her career to blazing a path of leadership by understanding global social trends and advocating for the highest quality of living for all stakeholders.
George L. Dahl, F.A.I.A., Chief Architect and orchestrator of the 1936 Centennial World’s Fair Exposition in Dallas, and Faulkner’s grandfather, is the driving source behind her passion for design and architecture. She considers herself a student of the world and connector of people, regularly traveling to more than 50 countries across six continents.
Faulkner serves as president of the six entities affiliated with FDG, including Architectural-Images and Design Expediting Services International. She is regularly involved with such charitable organizations as Yellow Rose Gala, World Vision, CC Young, The North Texas Food Bank, AURORA, and EarthxFilm.
Graduating Cum Laude from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration double major in International Business and Finance, Faulkner also graduated with Honors with an Associate’s Degree in Interior Design. She is NCIDQ certified, a Registered Interior Designer licensed in 22 states, a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers, IDEX, and LEED Green Associates certified.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER AND CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER
Michelle Duncum serves as both COO and CMO of Faulkner Design Group. She is responsible for client relationship growth and management as well as overseeing company operations. Michelle is a driving force behind the Faulkner brand, ensuring that the firm’s quality of work and client experience far exceed expectations. With her extensive experience in employee management, she inspires FDG employees to perform at the highest level of excellence. Michelle is an advocate for the use and implementation of the latest technology by FDG in the all areas of the business. This forward-thinking approach has greatly advanced Faulkner Design Group’s ability to produce more efficiently, deliver higher quality work, and ultimately, provide clients a greater “bang for their buck”.
Michelle came to Faulkner Design Group with over 24 years of experience in the multifamily industry. Her background includes working at all management levels, from Leasing Agent to Regional Director of Operations. For 10 years prior to joining the FDG team, Michelle was a client of the firm serving as an Asset Manager overseeing multifamily development portfolios. Her experience is an invaluable resource that allows Faulkner Design Group to better service the wants and needs of developers and financial investors. In addition to that, her time as a client of Faulkner Design Group provides the rest of the team customer service insights not found anywhere else. In her time in the multifamily industry, Michelle won numerous awards for marketing and management.
Michelle’s unique skill set and industry knowledge plays a role in the functional design and layout construction of multifamily projects within the firm. By taking what she learned from her experience in the multifamily industry, she assists the design team with valuable feedback on creating environments that better attract future residents. In every role she plays within Faulkner Design Group, it is her mission to advance the level of service provided by the FDG team.
Michelle is an alumna of The University of Texas at Arlington. In recent years, she has served on the Board of Directors for Arlington’s Teen Court and multiple advisory committees for the Arlington Independent School District.

Stacy Peters, plays an integral role as FDG’s Director of Design. Since joining Faulkner Design Group in 1999 as a college intern, Stacy is now in charge of client development and project management within the firm’s senior living division. She has a passion for Platinum Living™ design and understands the details required to meet specialized needs in all levels of senior care. Known throughout the design community for being able to translate a vision into reality, Stacy’s client list includes some of the leading senior living communities in the country.
While she spends an ample amount of time in the office developing state-of-the-art senior living communities, she’s still able to find the time to be a kid with her nieces and nephews.
Stacy earned her BFA from Purdue University, is NCIDQ Certified, a Registered Interior Designer, and LEED AP ID+C Certified.

Claudine Begay’s first foray into interior design began in high school when she channeled her inner artist and used her white bedroom furniture as a canvas for splattering black paint. Since then, she’s been able to stretch her style muscles every day, working her way up from FDG’s college intern about 20 years ago to a revered Director of Design, and adding a splash of color along the way. From managing the design of senior living and multifamily communities to managing a family with multiples, Claudine Begay does it all– and does it well. She’s a fun mom of three, a devoted wife, a creative speller, and a kick’n rocker to boot!
She oversees all stages of the firm’s projects, from the initial design concept to construction coordination to the installation of the furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E). Claudine also manages the budget, selection, design, purchasing and installation of all FF&E, as well as construction budget concerns and on site.
Claudine is a graduate of Steven F. Austin University with a B.A. in design and a minor in art history.

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
This Senior Project Manager and busy mom of two still finds room on her to-do list to pencil in “me time.” A member of the FDG team for over a decade, Stephanie manages the firm’s design team and enjoys designing pretty much any space available. Her strong background in interior design and construction engineering has helped her take on the ins and outs of the industry—literally.
With nearly two decades of AutoCAD experience, including AutoCAD 2010 and some REVIT applications, Stephanie is in charge of initiating overall design concepts, space planning and the complete design development of multifamily and senior living projects. Stephanie serves as an interface with clients and also plays an integral role in initiating client marketing strategies and development, while also managing the design team, site visits, procurement and installation.
She earned her BFA in interior design with a minor in construction engineering from The University of North Texas. And aside from being a fundamental member of the FDG team and a busy mom, Stephanie is currently studying for her Interior Design certification.

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS - DESIGN EXPEDITING SERVICES INTERNATIONAL
As the Director of Operations for Design Expediting Services International, (DESI), Daniel Toliver ensures that each and every day, Faulkner Design Group’s storage, moving and installation needs run smoothly and seamlessly. For over 20 years, Toliver has been responsible for finding strategic solutions to many of installation and procurement’s biggest challenges as well as making sure every solution is code-compliant.
A highly motivated and purpose-driven professional, Toliver possesses and demonstrates the ability to implement process improvement and manage projects that increase efficiency. He has extensive knowledge in automated business solutions, customer support and performance reporting and regularly provides guidance on policies and plans affecting company operations, delivery of practice advisory in addition to knowledge and learning services. Toliver also monitors and analyzes the operating environment and readjusts operations based on internal and external client needs.
A Certified Consumer Driven Six-Sigma Green Belt and Recognized 6 Sigma Society Member, Toliver received much of his training from the University of Texas at Dallas School of Management.
